🔴 City with at least one stopped pick-pocket
Editors Note: This is your 6th know stop in St. Petersberg!
Dear Clothing Arts,
My wife and I were in St. Petersburg, Russia. We were walking down a sidewalk on the main street and we stopped for a pedestrian stop sign. We were first at the curb, with a lot of people behind us. As the light changed, a man abruptly walked in front of us and stopped, preventing us from crossing while he stood still. I felt another person pushing into my back from behind, and then, a hand trying to first reach into my pocket. An attempt was then made to grab a travel bag I was holding. I shoved the man aside and he and his partner were lost in the crowd.
Luckily for us, they were unsuccessful due to your anti-pick-pocket pants we were both wearing. I am a police officer and knew the attempt was imminent, but we were helpless and of course without any weapons. It was a frightening and unnerving experience, and we were most likely targeted as we are seniors.
I wonder if the experiences when looked upon together will let travelers know where an “incident” is most likely to happen!

Dear Clothing Arts,
My wife and I were in St. Petersburg, Russia last year and someone tried to pick my pocket as we came out of the Hermitage Museum. He got his fingers into my pocket but was unable to yank my wallet out of the pocket thanks to the double buttons. I felt him pulling on the wallet and knocked him away.
Without my Clothing Arts pants, our trip to Russia would have had a much sadder ending!

Editor's Note: This is your fourth stop in St. Petersburg overall and incredibly the third in a row for the city! It looks like there is a new contender for our top pick-pocket city list in the making.
Dear Clothing Arts,
While doing a tour of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia on September 24, 2018, I went thru a crowded room going toward the exit. There was a lot of pushing and shoving. When I got into the open, I found that my outer zipper was in the UP position. My wallet was in my front left pocket, in the inner secure pocket, and Euros were folded in the inner zipper pocket. All still secure and safe.
Well done Clothing Arts.

Editors Note: This is stopped pick-pocket #3 for St. Petersburg overall and the second stop in a row!
This testimonial was taken from a recent ★★★★★ reveiw:
Got these right before a Baltic cruise. Thought I was going overboard with the security until I got bumped in St. Petersburg... Our guide yelled, then asked me to check my pockets. Nope, nothing taken. My wallet was in the left front pocket, inside the Velcro inner pocket. The outside pocket was zipped and the safety flap buttoned. No way it would be easy to get. Overall the pants are roomy and comfortable to travel in. They dry quickly and don’t seem to attract stains.
Editors Note: This is our second stop in St. Petersburg!
Dear Clothing Arts,
While touring the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia on June 21st someone attempted to get my wallet out of my front right pocket. The museum was very crowded and going thru a crowded doorway, I felt some pressure against my right side.
We got to an open area and found that the zipper had been raised, but my wallet was still safe in the inner secure area.
Thanks so much for your great product.

Dear Clothing Arts,
Your Adventure Travel pants stopped a pick-pocket at the Peterhof in St. Petersburg, Russia. My husband was wearing your pants and had his wallet in the large square cargo pocket on his lower thigh. He was so absorbed with taking the perfect shot of the Palace that he did not notice a young woman standing next to him who managed to get the two buttons of the pocket undone before she was noticed by someone standing nearby who sounded the alarm. She did not get the zipper opened before the alarm was sounded, and thus the wallet was saved. Its dangerous to think that the pants are totally ‘pickpocket proof.’ My husband should not have had his wallet in that lower pocket but he thought it was safe because he had on ‘pickpocket proof pants.’ However, the combination of buttons and zippers made the process of getting at his wallet time consuming enough to allow detection.

Dear Clothing Arts,
We visited Russia about two years ago. Despite warnings that it was a pick-pocket haven, it was one of the most delightful trips we have ever taken. My level of mental comfort was aided in no small part by the Pick-Pocket Proof pants that I wore every day. Their value really came into play when I went down into the St. Petersburg subway (I'm a big transit fan and use the public transit systems wherever we visit). I was standing on the platform waiting for a train with two men directly in front of me. The train pulled into the station, the two men got on in front of me, then immediately turned around and exited, one on each side of me. They brushed both my side pockets on their way out. I knew immediately what had happened and also knew immediately that they were unsuccessful. Thanks Pick-Pocket Proof pants!
