🔴 City with at least one stopped pick-pocket
Editor's Note: This stopped pick-pocket attempt occured on March 16, 2022. It is the fifth known stop since the restart of travel and your 37th overall stop in Paris... that we know about!
Hello Clothing Arts,
My daughter and I were on vacation in Paris over Spring Break. While many of your testimonials involve the subway, this one happened while we were observing a Monet at the Musee d'Orsay one afternoon.
I got slammed into hard by an older teenage boy or girl -- there were two of them, not sure which one it was but one slammed into me from behind and the other was trying to use that distraction to get at my pockets. It was a hard body contact -- reminded me of when I played rugby in college. Fortunately, I was wearing my PPP Adventure Travel Pants and had them on full lockdown; passports and vax cards for the two of us were in the inner zipped rear left pocket, with the outer pocket zipped and buttoned. My wallet was in my front left inner zipped pocket, with the outer pocket zipped and buttoned.
So, the bad guys didn't get anything (except a hard elbow - those old rugby instincts are pretty hard-wired at this point). PPP pants did the trick -- thanks! Another dad on our trip experienced this same method - body slam and grab at the front pockets - on the Paris subway platform that same day. Fortunately for him, his pants were pretty tight and they couldn't get in and out without getting caught (then running off).
Thanks again for the great product!

Editor's Note: This is your 36th known stop in Paris and extends extends the City of Lights' lead over Rome to 4 as the "Unofficial Stopped Pick-Pocket Capital of the World." Plus that's 3 stops in a row for France as travel restarts!
Dear Clothing Arts,
Your pants do stop theft. They stopped robbers from accessing my wallet in the Paris subway.
My incident occurred just as I got on the subway train. I was overwhelmed by a group of young pick-pockets all female. They had their hands all over me but could not unzip my pockets. There were about 5 of them.
They got off at the next station and there was a woman next to me who had her money stolen from her money belt. So the pants are really excellent in stopping pick-pockets.

Editor's Note: This is your 35th confirmed stop in Paris! The lead is now 2 stop over Rome for the "Unofficial Pick-Pocket Capital of The World." This testimonial came from a recent ***** Review on our Business Traveler Pants. RVJ is from Jacksonville, FL.
Editor's Note: Paris may be one of the "Unofficial Pick-Pocket Capitals Of The World," but this testimonial reinforces that it pays to be prepared no matter your destination. Idyllic Strasbourg doesn't seem like a pick-pocket mecca, but as long as tourists visit, the pick-pockets are sure to follow.
Dear Clothing Arts,
My PPP Pants saved me from a pick-pocket in a packed train station elevator in Strasbourg, France last September. Two young "gypsy" ladies turned out to be working pickpockets in the train station elevator and one of them tried to get into my pockets while I was packed in like a sardine and could not physically react.
I felt the girl trying to get into my pockets but she could not. While one girl yelled and pointed to the elevator ceiling the other tried to get into my pants (no double entendre intended). She could not get my pockets open. They were closed for business.
My pants saved my trip to France. I reported the attempt to the police who caught the perps who were regularly doing this crowded elevator scam. We probably stopped a lot of other travelers from getting picked.

Editor's Note: Incredibly, this is the 31st known stopped pick-pocket in Rome! This testimonial was recently sent in by Dale J. via a Facebook comment and is your first known stop since travel has restarted.
As tourists return, pick-pockets will inevitably follow. The pick-pockets have been out of work for nearly 2 years and we expect to see a rise in attempts being made in the near term. So now more than ever, it pays to be prepared. Since receiving this testimonial, we have learned of two more successful stops that we will publish shortly. Dale was wearing a pair from our Adventure Traveler Line where the front pockets features a horizontal security guard unique to our apparel.
Pro-tip: Wear your shirt untucked to cover the pocket as a 4th layer of defense, on top of the triple-secure design our pants offer. The pick-pocket will have no idea what is going on with your pocket and move along to find an easier target... since everyone else has unsecured pockets, why try harder?!?!
Editor's Note: This is your 5th known stop in Florence.
Dear Clothing Arts,
Just wanted to send a note and thank you. We just got back from a great trip in Italy, where I was wearing my new Adventure Travel Pants. I was being double paranoid, using a money belt and a decoy wallet in the back pocket of my pants.
No issues that I know of in the airports, or over most of the trip, but that changed when we took the train from Florence to Rome. It wasn't long at the Florence train station before I noticed the back right button on my rear pocket was undone, and the zipper was partially open. They of course never got into the pocket itself, much less to my decoy wallet in the inside pocket.
Hopefully, I gave the attempted pickpocket a frustrating day!
Regardless, the pants helped take a lot of stress and worry out of our travels, as I was able to feel confident that nothing would be stolen.
Thanks,
Jerry W. from Edmond, Oklahoma

Dear Clothing Arts,
Last October, my wife and I spent a week visiting Florence, Italy. Every day we walked across the main square, the Piazza del Duomo to get somewhere. As usual, one afternoon, the square was filled with people but I was unaware of physical contact with anyone. As we left the square, I noticed that one front pocket button of my PPP Adventure pants was no longer closed.
Another wallet saved by Clothing Arts!!
