United StatesOlympic Level Pickpockets
The only thing more intense than the athletic completion in Paris this summer will be the skills of the pickpockets. I’ve worn these shorts for years and have always felt confident that I was very well protected and never had to worry in crowds or on the subway. At least until last Tuesday on the number 3 subway line in Paris. I was on the last car standing, holding the bar and bouncing around without a care in the world. I noticed a guy who would get bounced by the train and reach for the bar with his hand that was furthest away from the bar. Found this odd, but didn’t think much of it. When the doors opened up, several people got off and we took a seat for the rest of our trip. As I got off the subway, I noticed that the button flap was unbuttoned and that my zipper was halfway up. When I checked the pocket, my brand new coin purse was missing. Thankfully, my wallet with the ID and credit cards was in the triple secured inner zippered pocket which saved the unfortunate incident from being a disater. There are several take always from this experience. One is to stand with one pocket towards your traveling companion, holding on with your inside hand. This leaves your outside hand to guard the exposed pocket. Always tuck the zipper pull in at the bottom to make it harder to operate the zipper. And finally use the triple secure pockets for those things you don’t want to lose. Still love these shorts, I wouldn’t have stood a chance with regular shorts.

For maximum security, using the triple secure pockets we offer in these shorts is always a good idea, especially on the Paris Metro!! The tip to tuck the zipper pull into the bottom of the pocket is your 4th level of defense - which we should talk about more. The Olympics will draw the best pick-pockets in Europe to Paris and in a normal pair of shorts the pick-pockets would have made off with all of your valuables. Enjoy the shorts on your adventures for many years and continued safe travels!

I have had a pair of shorts and a pair of the pants for several years. We travel to Sweden twice a year to see family and to a warm spot in the winter. They are comfortable and look good. Now aware of an attempted grab but feel good when all zipped and buttoned up.

I don't travel much if at all but I love all the pockets. I have 2 pairs of Adventure travel shorts and a pair of convertable travel shorts. Did I mention I love all the pocket and the quality. The Adventure travel shorts are my favorite for summer because they are cool and and comfortable. This company is the real deal. I am very glad I tryed them out.
